Assistant Store Manager

Overview

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking Assistant Store Managers who can lead a team of Health Enthusiasts in promoting lifelong wellness. Ideal candidates are committed to fostering a supportive and educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a direct support to the Store Manager, executing with excellence.
• Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals, supporting team members.
• Assist with recruiting and developing top talent.
• Foster external and community relationships to boost sales.
• Lead with integrity and take responsibility for actions.
• Foster an environment of continuous learning, participating in company training initiatives.
• Maintain regular store maintenance, adhere to loss prevention standards, process receipts promptly, and ensure shelves are stocked and prices are correct.
• Be willing to perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience/instruction.
• The desire to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• A valid driver’s license.
• 3-5 years of retail experience, preferably in management roles.

Compensation and Benefits

• The wage for this position is determined by various factors including role requirements, skill set, years of experience, and organizational needs. The estimated range is $20.75 - $22.50 per hour.
