Assistant Store Manager

Overview

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking Assistant Store Managers who can lead a team of Health Enthusiasts in promoting lifelong wellness. This role offers opportunities for continuous education and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Act as a direct support to the Store Manager, executing with excellence.
• Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting others.
• Assist with recruiting and developing top talent.
• Foster external, community relationships to grow sales.
• Lead with integrity and take accountability.
• Foster an environment of continuous education and support company-driven training initiatives.
• Participate in continuous learning activities.
• Maintain regular store maintenance, adhere to loss prevention standards, process receipts promptly, and ensure shelves are full and products are priced correctly.
• Be willing to perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience/instruction.
• The desire to work a flexible schedule (Holidays, weekends, locations) depending on business needs.
• A valid driver’s license.
• 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Retail management experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position is based on many factors such as role requirements, skill set, years of experience and other organizational needs. The estimated range is $18.00 - $19.75 per hour.
