Assistant Store Manager

Role Overview: An Assistant Store Manager (ASM) supports customer financial needs while gaining hands-on store management experience. This performance-driven, people-first role focuses on account management, customer outreach, risk assessment, and team support, with opportunities for growth and promotion. Key Responsibilities: Maximize customer success by offering tailored financial services and evaluating transaction risks.Oversee account management, collections, and process loan/pawn applications with accuracy.Conduct outreach through calls and community events to build customer relationships and drive business.Support and develop Customer Service Representatives, ensuring adherence to standards and safety policies.Maintain store operations, including security, cleanliness, audits, and compliance with laws and company policies.Manage cash, vault, and daily procedures, and perform outside store activities like vehicle appraisals and marketing.Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring individual and team performance. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent.At least one year in customer service, sales, or retail, with 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.Strong communication skills, proficiency with phones, POS, Microsoft Office, and computer systems.Must be at least 18 (19 in Alabama), with a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle.Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods, moving weight up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls. Preferred Qualifications: Management experience in retail or related industries, familiarity with check cashing and money processing, bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
