Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Precision Tune Auto Care, a 50‑year‑old leader in automotive service and a Franchise 500 top‑rated brand, is seeking a dynamic Store Manager. You’ll lead a high‑performing team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate service and back‑shop teams to achieve sales and productivity goals.
• Recruit, hire, and develop top talent to ensure optimal staffing and service levels.
• Oversee daily shop operations, including workflow, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Train associates on customer care, Courtesy Vehicle Inspections (CVIs), and store systems.
• Manage store profitability, visual presentation, inventory integrity, POS transactions, and vendor relations.
• Partner with the Fleet business team to grow and maintain customer relationships.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure fair resolution.
• Serve as a key holder and perform opening/closing responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college or technical program preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in an automotive service or related environment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and cash‑handling skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
• Comfortable with upselling and meeting sales goals.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Physical demands: lift and carry up to 50 lb, frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Clear communication in person, by phone, and using computers; safe vehicle operation in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
