Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in ensuring smooth store operations.
• Delivers exceptional customer service.
• Maintains merchandising standards.
• Adequately adheres to operational procedures.
• Drives sales performance.
• Supports the Store Manager by mentoring trainee associates.
• Achieves sales targets.
• Drives business growth.
• Supports management of inventory levels.
• Processes shipments, handles damages and returns, and manages supplies.
• Aids in the recruitment process for store talent.
• Trains, staffs, and retains employees.
• Assists with administrative tasks, ensuring strict adherence to policies and procedures.
• Ensures the store remains in top condition and adheres to visual merchandising standards.
• Delivers constructive feedback to promote growth and continuous improvement.
• Works closely with the Store Manager and Loss Prevention Team to address shrinkage.
• Achieves sales targets by training, motivating, mentoring, and offering feedback to the sales team.
• Manages cash-handling tasks and creates a clean, safe environment.

Requirements

• Capable of delivering constructive feedback.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proven successful experience in retail management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to relocate or manage additional stores based on business needs.
• Ability to travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Hospitality or related fields is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in retail management, with a strong track record of leading teams.

USD $18.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Schedule
