Pay

The hourly wage for this position is $16.00 per hour. This rate is part of a Total Compensation package that includes benefits and perks.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize customer success by offering financial services tailored to their needs.
  • Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products.
  • Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships.
  • Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining customer service to prevent loss and charge-offs.
  • Maintain accurate and secure customer information in the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Perform off-site duties, including vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing.
  • Meet performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnerships, obtaining referrals, and participating in or hosting in-store and community events.
  • Maintain office security protocols, including opening/closing procedures, vault, and cash drawer management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal laws.
  • Conduct store audits, create reports, and compile financial data to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance, addressing facility needs and scheduling maintenance.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks to meet individual and team performance standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends. Regular in-person attendance is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
  • At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle for work-related travel (mileage compensated).
  • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for up to 90% of the time, moving/transporting up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls like a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, finance, service, or related industries.
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
