Pay

The hourly wage for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize customer success by offering financial services tailored to their needs
  • Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing, and ancillary products
  • Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships
  • Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining customer service focus
  • Maintain accurate and secure customer information in the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Perform off-site duties including vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing
  • Meet performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnerships, referrals, and community events
  • Maintain office security protocols, including opening/closing procedures, vault, and cash drawer management
  • Uphold compliance with company policies, local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Conduct store audits, create reports, and compile financial data to ensure compliance
  • Monitor and maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and address facility needs
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks to meet performance standards
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership
  • Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends

**A full-time schedule is at least 40 hours per week. Store hours and schedules may vary by brand and location.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail
  • At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
  • Background check required (conducted in accordance with applicable law)
  • Ability to meet physical demands: standing up to 90% of the time, moving/transporting up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, finance, service, or related industries
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) — may be required for certain locations
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle (mileage compensated)
