About the role
The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) role at TitleMax High Ridge, MO supports real financial needs through customer service, risk management, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Support customer success with financial services tailored to their needs.
- Assess and manage financial transactions, including loan/pawn applications, check cashing, and ancillary products.
- Drive account management and recovery processes, including collection calls and customer outreach.
- Maintain accurate customer information in the POS system.
- Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality standards and safety procedures are met.
- Perform duties outside the office, such as on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing activities.
- Participate in business-to-business partnerships, obtain referrals, and host in-store and community events.
- Conduct store audits, create reports, and compile financial data to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, address facility needs, and schedule maintenance services.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently to meet individual and team performance standards.
- Work in a fast-paced, changing environment with a full-time schedule, including weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
- Minimum three months’ supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing up to 90% of the time, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.
- Management experience in retail, finance, or related industries is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
