Assistant Store Manager

Core Accountabilities

  • Drive financial growth by achieving sales and key KPI goals
  • Exceed store EBITDA budget through responsibly managing payroll, supplies, and facilities
  • Coach and develop staff to exceed individual and store goals

  • Support and maintain a positive store environment by leading and developing a quality store team
  • Aid in recruiting, hiring, training, and building a talent pipeline
  • Create a culture of customer obsession that caters to the extraordinary achiever
  • Deliver extraordinary customer service through your store team
  • Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards consistent with company expectations
  • Consistently communicate customer, market, and product feedback
  • Achieve all operational objectives with regards to loss prevention, health, and safety
  • Support the team to ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Full-Time Position
  • College degree preferred or related field experience
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
  • Retail management experience preferred
  • Must have open availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a retail business, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
  • Knowledge in driving sales, business acumen, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to coordinate operational tasks, including receiving shipment and maintain store cleanliness; will participate in those tasks when additional support is needed
  • Knowledge in staffing, coaching, counseling, training, and development
  • Demonstrated ability to support a team-oriented environment
  • Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English
  • Strong computer skills including POS Systems and Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time, including repetitive use of upper extremities
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds occasionally

State Specific Wage Information

  • Rate of pay dependent upon candidates' relevant skills, experience, and location.
  • $24.00-$29.00 per hour
