Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Humdingers is seeking an individual to assist the current store manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store when the manager is away
• Communicate with the entire staff to ensure the success of the position
• Schedule and supervise staff
• Display and stock merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
• Handle daily paperwork and make bank deposits (when manager is away)
• Assign staff projects to keep the store clean and safe
• Work weekends and holidays
• Fill in for call-offs and employee vacations
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand and move for up to 10 hours
• Work 40 to 50 hours per week, especially during busy summer months
