Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Take the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team, and ensure AT&T customers experience our best-in-class services, entertainment, and technology. In this role, you’ll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including assisting with merchandising, product launches, and sales objectives to provide customers with an extraordinary experience. You’ll also perform additional outreach and promotional activities, such as off-site events.

You’ll gain valuable experience coaching a team of retail sales consultants to ensure they meet sales and service goals, supported by best-in-class paid training to set you up for leadership success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail store operations in partnership with the store manager.
• Assist with merchandising, product launches, and meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services.
• Conduct outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events.
• Coach and develop a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Utilize strategic perspective to champion change and inspire high performance.
• Apply professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
• Take initiative to drive results and create impact.

Requirements

• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store.

Pay

Salary range: $47,500.00 - $71,300.00 plus $18,000 commission. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Schedule

40 hours per week, full-time.
