Assistant Store Manager Anadarko

General Function / Summary

The Assistant Store Manager serves and educates customers on the product portfolio, escalates issues, answers telephone inquiries, performs outbound sales calls, interacts with customers, handles cash transactions, balances receipts, and complies with regulations and policies.

Duties

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options.
• Escalate unresolved issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office.
• Answer telephone inquiries and perform customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls.
• Interact with customers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, balancing receipts and resolving discrepancies.
• Process transactions accurately and per company policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education And Experience Required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Own personal reliable transportation compliant with company policy.
• Valid Driver’s License and valid Automobile Insurance.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to travel to all stores within the assigned district with personal vehicle.
• May be asked to travel to neighboring districts and require overnight travel.
• Work assigned shifts as scheduled.

• Call center/retail/office environment.
• Extensive cash handling.
• Extended phone usage.
• Long periods of standing.
• Extended viewing of computer screens and typing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Travel / Attendance

• Must be able to travel to all stores within the assigned district with personal vehicle.
• May be asked to travel to neighboring districts.
• May require overnight travel.
• Work assigned shifts as scheduled.
