About the role

The Assistant Manager at CosmoProf is responsible for supervising and supporting the direction planning of associates to deliver exceptional client experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty in assigned stores. They also ensure all brand standards are met and maintain a safe store environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the direction planning of associates daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Support the Store Manager in managing inventory through ordering and shipment processing.
• Manage payroll hours to meet the needs of the business and schedule appropriately.
• Ensure all store opening and closing procedures are performed correctly.
• Timely and accurately follow through with Company directives and assignments/projects.
• Maintain a safe store environment for associates and customers; enforce all policies and procedures.
• Protect company assets by ensuring all inventory and cash control procedures are followed.
• Analyze and utilize all available reporting, tools, and technology.
• Ensure stores are compliant with all HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
• Effective communication skills
• Scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
