About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals and activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage brand standards, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, coach associates, and ensure compliance with company policies.

• 30% Operations: Ensure process execution, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, schedule hours, and follow company directives.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, analyze reports, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
