About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including brand, people, and operations. They also take full responsibility when the Store Manager is not present.

Responsibilities

• Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional customer experiences that maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance, maintain positive relations, and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Operations: Ensure adherence to company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and execute store opening/closing procedures. Protect company assets and comply with safety and loss prevention protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
