About the role

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing store operations, managing associates, and achieving key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage brand standards, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Support the Store Manager in team development, recruitment, and maintaining positive relationships with associates.

• 30% Operations: Ensure efficient store operations, manage inventory, and adhere to company policies.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and comply with safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years of retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year of prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to lift moderately heavy items

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
