About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, developing and leading the team, and ensuring optimal customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise associates, plan daily goals, ensure brand standards are met, resolve customer issues, analyze trends, and anticipate customer demands.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, coach associates, maintain positive relations, and manage payroll and schedules.

• 30% Operations: Ensure processes are executed, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, and comply with safety and loss prevention policies.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, analyze reports, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
