Position Overview

The Assistant Store Leader of Operations leads and supports the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve all store goals, including best of class guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation, while driving both associate and guest engagement.

You will provide guests with exceptional service, through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and presenting a clean, well-maintained store environment.

Operations

  • Maintains an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicates with team
  • Manages and oversees scheduling
  • Manages back of house organization
  • Manages shipment and product prep process (steaming, hanging etc.)
  • Plans and manages merchandise markdown process
  • Manages supply orders, maintenance & cleaning
  • Audits and manages banking & loss prevention systems
  • Trains new associates on operational processes
  • Co-leads floor sets/refresh management
  • Manages and oversees inventory/damages
  • Manages payroll and responsible for store’s financial performance
  • Executes task directives within designated time frames
  • Completes opening/closing procedures
  • Adheres to loss prevention practices and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control in order to protect Company assets
  • Communicates effectively with executive team

Qualifications

  • 1 year Retail Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and / or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
