About the role

The Guest Engagement Assistant Store Leader at Stand Out For Good Inc., located at West Town Mall in Knoxville, TN, is responsible for creating an exceptional and inspiring guest experience in their store. This role involves hiring, training, and developing a diverse, passionate team that fosters authentic relationships with guests.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivates a guest-focused environment by driving volume and anticipating guest needs
  • Models excellent service standards and coaches associates to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Recruits, trains, and develops a team to achieve individual, store, and company goals
  • Fosters team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions
  • Manages the Mission Monday campaign to positively impact the community and enhance people’s lives
  • Holds self and the team accountable for achieving P&L results and statistical standards
  • Provides timely feedback, recognition, and rewards to associates, driving retention and performance

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and willingness to engage with guests
  • Proven record as a successful hospitality leader with a high degree of knowledge in all aspects of leadership including financial results, guest satisfaction, and employee relations
  • The ability to maintain a beautiful environment using a keen eye for detail, ensuring a pleasing experience and inviting atmosphere
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to meaningful causes
  • Creative and entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to react instinctively to implementing revenue-driven ideas and opportunities
  • A well-groomed and stylish appearance is essential, reflecting both personal pride and a commitment to delivering a world-class guest experience
  • Ability to work a varied schedule with a minimum of 40 hours a week including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • One year of retail or hospitality management experience
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
