Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the Role

7-Eleven is seeking an Assistant Store Leader Trainee to join our team. As part of our management team, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing customer service, training, and coaching store employees, alongside the Store Leader. We're hiring immediately and offer full-time hours, competitive pay, and valuable management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching to store employees.
• Assist in maintaining high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Help implement merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment, ensuring all products are in stock and complying with health and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred: Word, Excel).
• Valid Driver's License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

$17.00 - $23.00 Hourly
