Assistant Statistical Analyst
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Statistical Consultant, the incumbent provides support in the collection, organization, and preparation of data for statistical analysis and reporting. The incumbent assists with survey administration, data management, and the preparation of tables, charts, and reports. This position ensures the accuracy and consistency of data handling and contributes to the university’s planning, assessment, and accountability processes by providing dependable technical and administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in providing statistical and qualitative data support for faculty and graduate students including design, data preparation, analysis, and web-based surveys.
- Provide clerical and technical support in preparing statistical summaries, visualizations, and reports under the direction of the Statistical Consultant.
- Aid in aggregating statistical web access information from Qualtrics, Campus Software, Canvas, and other databases.
- Assist and support the SPOT administration when needed.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources. The hiring range for this position is $4,799 (Step #1) - $5,299 (Step #6) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.

Physical Summary
Sedentary work - Involves mainly sitting. Walking and standing are minimal. Lifting is limited to lightweight objects (10 pounds or less).
