Assistant Station Manager

About the role

Full‑time Assistant Manager position with the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) located in Owings Mills, MD. This is a leased position through Carmel Staffing, LLC, supporting the Annapolis, Maryland inspection facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the inspection station according to company‑specified technical and financial objectives
• Share accountability for all station operations, including troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rest and meal periods
• Assume the responsibilities of the station manager in his or her absence
• Ensure good public relations between the company, employees, and the community
• Assist the Station Manager in opening and closing the facility
• Ensure the safety and protection of customers and employees
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Station Manager and/or District Manager
