Assistant Station Manager

About the role

Assistant Manager with the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) – full-time position assisting the Station Manager at the Annapolis, Maryland inspection facility (location noted as Prince Frederick, MD). This is a leased position through Carmel Staffing, LLC.

Schedule

Flex Hours Monday‑Saturday, 40 hours per week, daytime hours.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the inspection station in accordance with the company‑specified technical and financial objectives
• Shares accountability for all station operations, including troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rest and meal periods
• Assumes the responsibilities of the station manager in his or her absence
• Ensures good public relations between the Company, employees and the community
• Assists the Station Manager in opening and closing the facility
• Ensures the safety and protection for customers and employees
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Station Manager and/or District Manager
