About the role

The Assistant Manager will assist the Station Manager in managing the inspection station in Annapolis, Maryland, adhering to company-specified technical and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Shares accountability for all station operations, including troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rest and meal periods
  • Assumes the responsibilities of the station manager in their absence
  • Ensures good public relations between the company, employees, and the community
  • Affords assistance in opening and closing the facility
  • Ensures the safety and protection of customers and employees

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service or management role
  • Knowledge of vehicle emissions testing procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
