Assistant / Staff Right of Way

Essential Functions

  • Aid in analyzing, preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
  • Support research and collection of real property related project documents.
  • Translate data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents.
  • Compile technical data for presentation to Right of Way project team.
  • Prepare permit applications for the project team.
  • Prepare project status, technical, and acquisition reports for the project team.
  • Assist project teams with document preparation, meeting agendas, and other project-related activities.
  • Maintain compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidate MUST have a NC Real Estate License before starting. Minimum requirements for Assistant Level:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution and some relevant experience.
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma and at least 4 years of relevant experience is required.

Minimum requirements for Staff Level:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma and at least 8 years of relevant experience is required.

Prior internship and/or related consulting experience is preferred.

Basic knowledge of general real estate law and real estate title work is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills is essential.

Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) are required.

Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills are important.

Demonstrated leadership skills are necessary.

Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions, or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
