Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head Softball coach in planning and organizing all phases of a Division I softball program, including skill development of pitchers and catchers
- Coordination of on and off campus recruiting efforts
- Overseeing camps and clinics
- Coordinating scouting of opponents
- Ability to throw batting practice
- Assisting with administrative responsibilities with the program including team travel, marketing, program operations, game management, and other duties as assigned by the Head Softball Coach
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years collegiate playing experience
- One-year collegiate coaching experience (within the past six years) working specifically with hitters and infielders
- Basic film, editing and analytical abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 2-4 years of experience at the power 4 level (playing or coaching)
- Experience in retaining athletes based on their Name, Image and Likeness
- Student-athlete development philosophies consistent with that of the Division of Athletics and its softball program
