Assistant Slot Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages staff in the Slot Technical department.
• Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
• Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
• Assists in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations; ensures compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reports budget concerns to manager.
• Supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
• Partners with operational leaders to ensure slot projects and moves are aligned with business strategy for the property.
• Makes suggestions regarding types of materials, supplies, or tools to be used within established guidelines on assigned shift.
• Aids in the repair, maintenance and performance of all slots and related gaming equipment.
• Ensures all policies, procedures and practices are consistently followed and comply with the company’s service standards, brand attributes, policies, collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Carries out the development, execution, and measurement of departmental service standards for the Slot Technical team.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Associate degree (A.A) from an accredited college or university; one to two years in a Slot leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends according to business needs.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Must have knowledge of Slot operating systems.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of Slot operating systems.
