Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Operations Manager for our sports and entertainment venue in Memphis, TN. This role reports to the Site Operations Manager and assists in overseeing cleaning, janitorial duties, and staff to ensure facility cleanliness and high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of cleaning operations, including daily housekeeping, event cleaning, and post-event (night) cleaning services.
  • Train, schedule, and assign full-time and part-time employees.
  • Ensure all supplies, equipment, and labor are available to complete assigned tasks.
  • Assign Team Leaders to set up and properly store equipment before and after shifts.
  • Check in cleaning staff and ensure staffing meets required levels.
  • Inspect cleaning staff before start time for compliance with appearance standards.
  • Deploy cleaning staff to maintain event areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Direct cleaning staff and respond to facility and guest needs during events.
  • Walk the facility during events to inspect cleaning staff performance, quality, and safety standards.
  • Check out cleaning staff at the end of shifts.
  • Schedule cleaning staff for upcoming events and communicate work schedules.
  • Maintain records for shifts, including staff deployment forms, sign-in/sign-out forms, equipment allocation, labor reports, time cards, inspection reports, teamwork schedules, and safety reports.
  • Provide employee training and communicate company/client policies.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Address human resources concerns during shifts, including assisting with hiring, interviewing, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and payroll concerns.
  • Operate general groundskeeping equipment (e.g., leaf blowers, brooms, ladders, industrial machinery, cleaning solvents) and use required safety equipment.
  • Attend facility event planning meetings as directed.
  • Report maintenance and safety concerns immediately.
  • Report all accidents, injuries, or incidents immediately.
  • Work 8 events per year at a separate venue.

Requirements

  • Experience in employee management and budget management.
  • Available to work extended hours.
  • Janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Pay

$55,000 a year
