About the role
This role is designed as an early-career growth opportunity, with a focus on learning the full scope of site operations—from technical diagnostics to safety leadership and contractor management—while contributing meaningfully to plant reliability from day one.
Responsibilities
- Drive Technical Insight & Reliability
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts by gathering field data, downloading equipment logs, and providing site-level context to improve failure diagnostics
- Act as the primary field liaison to Technical Services, identifying recurring equipment issues and contributing to fleet-wide reliability improvements
- Coordinate and track specialized condition monitoring activities (infrared, ultrasound, NDT), ensuring findings are reviewed and resolved
- Ensure Precision Maintenance Execution
- Oversee third-party O&M providers, ensuring work aligns with contractual and technical standards
- Perform quality audits on preventive maintenance activities, verifying accurate measurements and proper tool usage
- Participate in pre-job planning with contractors to confirm technical scope, expectations, and critical quality checkpoints
- Build Site Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Partner with the Site Manager to develop capabilities in budgeting, safety leadership (HSE), compliance, and stakeholder management
- Contribute to the development of standardized work practices and training materials to support future in-house technician teams
- Help foster a safety-first, high-performance culture across site operations and contractor teams
- Support Operational Readiness & Commissioning
- Assist in construction-to-operations handoff activities, including inspections and commissioning validation
- Ensure systems meet reliability and performance expectations at commercial operation
- Contribute to establishing strong operational foundations for long-term asset success
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 1–3 years of hands-on field experience with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience gathering and analyzing operational data from SCADA systems, inverter platforms, or CMMS tools
- Familiarity with utility-scale power generation, energy storage, or similar industrial environments will help you ramp quickly
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information between field teams and engineering stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision, quality, and continuous improvement
- Curiosity and motivation to develop expertise across multiple generation technologies, including solar, storage, and thermal systems
- A safety-first approach and a commitment to building reliable, high-performing assets
- Collaborative, growth-oriented work style that supports team success and knowledge sharing

Pay
Total compensation includes base salary + bonus in USD. Compensation range is $118,000 to $135,000.
