Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager for our Kia Dealership in the Memphis market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and management, with the potential to grow within our fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Understand and keep abreast of all federal, state, and local regulations affecting operations.
- Interact with and manage a staff of technicians.
- Lead service management and reconditioning activities.
- Interact with external vendors.
- Fulfill all service activities needed to meet or exceed operating plan goals.
- Manage technician productivity.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of automotive management and automotive customer service experience.
- Experience with implementing structured business processes.
- A hard-working, can-do attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
