Assistant Service Manager, Beverly Hills

About the role

The Assistant Service Manager at Lucid is responsible for assisting the service manager in the day-to-day operations of the Lucid Service Center. This includes managing a team of advisors, technicians, service assistants, and parts staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops the Service Team, including performance management, engagement, and training
• Selects, trains, and develops employees, ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner
• Supports, implements, and provides follow-up for all training
• Ensures the team provides the highest level of Lucid customer experience while maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and vendors
• Manages timecards and schedules for service center team members
• Addresses client concerns or complaints quickly and professionally
• Possesses a working knowledge of all industry standards, regulations, and ensures department compliance
• Delegates and directs all service tasks as directed by the service manager, ensuring client vehicles are repaired and returned on time
• Performs quality control checks on vehicles once repairs have been completed
• Acquires a thorough understanding of Lucid Motors' mission and the importance of the role as a Service Manager
• Assists with or performs administrative tasks
• Resolves all people and safety issues in a timely and effective manner, collaborating with Human Resources and appropriate teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years varied automotive service experience, including measuring and holding team accountable for various KPI's
• Exceptional ability to collaborate, motivate, and lead individuals, groups, and vendors
• Exceptional organization and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
• Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains
• Preferred qualifications include an AA/BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience, ASE Certifications, and EPA 609 Certification
