Assistant Service Manager

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to help lead maintenance operations at our beautiful 408-unit community in Syracuse, NY. Working alongside an experienced Service Manager and Regional Service Manager, you'll play a key role in mentoring the maintenance team, solving complex maintenance challenges, and maintaining a community residents are proud to call home.
Responsibilities
- Support the Service Manager in leading daily maintenance operations
- Perform advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs
- Coordinate work orders, make-readies, and preventative maintenance
- Mentor technicians while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Help create a safe, efficient, and resident-focused community
Requirements
- Multifamily maintenance experience preferred
- EPA/HVAC Certification strongly preferred
- Leadership or lead technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay
$24.00–$26.00 per hour plus a $300 quarterly Morgan Essentials Bonus
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM to 5 PM
- On-call rotation required
