Assistant Service Advisor

National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) Assistant Service Advisor supports the Service Advisor in delivering exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and complaints, and coordinating service appointments. This role also ensures Service Technicians have the parts and resources needed for efficient repairs. This is a base-plus-commission position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Advisor in managing customer inquiries, complaints, and service appointments.
• Greet customers professionally, listen to their concerns, and advise on necessary repairs or services.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring technicians have adequate time and resources.
• Create service orders and work orders, accurately entering vehicle and customer information into systems.
• Communicate with Service Technicians to ensure they have necessary parts, tools, and resources.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs, including customer information, parts used, and time spent.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and ordering new parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the service desk, waiting area, and service bays.
• Comply with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations for automotive repair and service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive or RV service.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with service software and databases preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional presence and appearance.

Working Conditions

• May require standing or sitting for extended periods.

Pay

Average yearly earnings between $70,000 and $80,000 (base plus commission).

Schedule

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
