Assistant Salon Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist

Franchise owner- Requis Inc. is one of the largest and most loved Salon Franchises in the US with over 500 employees nationwide. As an independently owned and operated Regis franchisee, Requis Salons operates SmartStyle, Supercuts, and Cost Cutters salons across multiple states.

Responsibilities

You’ll provide exceptional leadership, guest service, understand your guest’s needs, provide quality consultations and perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations.
• Desire to lead and assist a salon manager.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Tech-savvy and able to perform administrative tasks (may include closing out the system at day‑end).
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Physical Requirements

• Good eyesight (close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus) to observe guests’ hair.
• Comfortable standing, lifting, reaching; able to lift, bend, and perform repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 10‑25 lbs.
• Tolerance for fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.
