Responsibilities

• Manage all salon operations and provide leadership and tools for success.
• Help staff increase their clientele and grow the business.
• Focus on salon profitability and teach stylists the ins and outs of business.
• Provide all hair‑care services offered by Supercuts, ensuring the highest quality for each guest.
• Act as a coach and mentor to create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with professionalism.
• Lead by example in both service delivery and business practices.

Qualifications

• Lead by example with a strong customer‑service focus and the ability to resolve challenges professionally.
• Demonstrated skill in training, developing, and motivating a team while fostering a positive work environment.
• Provide guidance on business and technical competency matters, keeping the salon’s bottom line in mind.
• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Tech‑savvy; able to perform administrative tasks and close out the system at the end of the day.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math.
• Willingness to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

• Good eyesight for close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus when observing a guest’s hair.
• Ability to stand, lift, reach, bend, and perform repetitive movements; occasional lifting of 10–25 lb.
• Tolerance of chemicals and fragrances used in salon treatments.
