Assistant Sales Manager (Management Trainee)

Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership Support
• Coach and mentor sales teams through customer interactions
• Drive sales by understanding and meeting the unique needs of each customer
• Share compelling product stories showcasing the features and benefits of our products
• Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings of the store management team
• Perform opening and closing duties related to the store
• Collaborate effectively with store management and team members
• Encourage peer coaching within your team
• Develop a basic understanding of all functionalities within the store and customer service departments

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales or customer-facing experience with supervisory experience preferred
• No jewelry experience necessary—comprehensive training provided
• Availability during evenings and weekends is a must
• High level of visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Excellence in written and spoken English; effective communication is key
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay

• Base Pay range for this role is $28-32/hr
• Placement in the range is determined through interviews, a review of experience, knowledge, skills, balanced pay with other team members, and alignment with geographic market data
• Team bonus that can range from zero to $150 each week for every member of the store team including the management team
• Individual sales performance bonus based on participation in both team and individual sales
• Quarterly bonus for management team members based on year-over-year total store sales achieved by the whole team
