Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the sales manager in recruiting, selecting, training and motivating sales associates and support staff.
- Contribute to the development and validation of plans, policies and objectives.
- Review and comment on policies and programs.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement programs and long-range objectives.
- Track sales revenue, number of customers, accountability of sales associates and their production, and district market share.
- Aid in the administration of the department budget and reporting the work performed within the department.
- Administer internal audit controls and standards to ensure compliance with required guidelines.
- Create and maintain effective working conditions, space, equipment and an environment that maximizes the effectiveness of sales associates and employees.
- Participate in community activities and local/state Board of Realtors to enhance the company's image.
- Serve as the Sales Manager in his/her absence.
- Assist with regional recruiting including career nights, presentations, mailings, advertisement development, recruiting materials and interviewing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
- Experience: Two plus years of real estate experience, including supervisory/management experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Experience in handling real estate transactions; knowledge of legal obligations of Realtors under state and federal laws, Department of Commerce Rules & Regulations, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics; strong computer experience; excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; detail oriented; project management skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure; effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities; high degree of integrity.
Wage and Benefits
