What You’ll Be Working On

  • Support and help lead safety operations across multiple heavy civil projects
  • Travel regularly to jobsites throughout the Western U.S. to support field teams and safety initiatives
  • Partner closely with operations leadership, superintendents, and project teams to proactively drive safe work practices
  • Conduct jobsite audits, inspections, incident investigations, and safety coaching
  • Help develop and implement company safety programs, procedures, and training initiatives
  • Mentor and support field safety professionals and project leadership teams
  • Assist with OSHA compliance, documentation, reporting, and corrective action follow-through
  • Promote a culture where safety is viewed as an operational advantage — not just a requirement

Position Description

Position Requirements

  • Strong safety leadership experience within heavy civil construction
  • Experience supporting projects such as roadway, structural concrete, excavation, utilities, bridges, or water/wastewater
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to active jobsites
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust in the field and with leadership teams
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices
  • CHST/OSHA 500/510 or related certifications required
