About This Unit
The Traumatic Brain Injury Unit is a 14-bed unit that provides a full continuum of services to meet patient needs. The interdisciplinary team specializes in neurotrauma, brain, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation.
Scope of Work
Under the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the assistant nurse manager is responsible for implementing the hospital and nursing department's philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures to enhance patient care within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
- Two years of clinical experience
- Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role)
- Preferred: MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
