Assistant Retail Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day to day Car Rental operations.
• Works closely with Four Seasons on vehicle reservations and coordination of delivery/pick up of Rental cars.
• Ensures that established par levels are maintained on all products.
• Prepares required reports including; Cost of Sales, Weekly Sales, Monthly Sales, etc.
• Responsible for oversight of the Hotel facility and 11 rooms.
• Ensures that the facility is well maintained and schedules maintenance as needed.
• Works with the Hotel team to create goals and action plans for the year that align with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Pulama Lanai.
• Makes progress on a quarterly basis and reassesses and adjusts as necessary.
• Assists with overseeing Lāna‘i Service Station.
• Ensures that Company policies and procedures with regard to handling cash, checks, credit cards, and merchandise refunds/exchanges are adhered to.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One to two years work experience in rental car or rental equipment business.
• One to two years work experience in Hotel operations, preferred.
• Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.
• Requires working to the established procedures and maintaining reliable work attendance.
• Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to think and make effective decisions quickly.
• Able to create effective working relationships with employees.
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure.
