Responsibilities
- Oversees the day to day Car Rental operations.
- Works closely with Four Seasons on vehicle reservations and coordination of delivery/pick up of Rental cars.
- Ensures that established par levels are maintained on all products.
- Prepares required reports including; Cost of Sales, Weekly Sales, Monthly Sales, etc.
- Responsible for oversight of the Hotel facility and 11 rooms.
- Ensures that the facility is well maintained and schedules maintenance as needed.
- Works with the Hotel team to create goals and action plans for the year that align with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Pulama Lanai.
- Makes progress on a quarterly basis and reassesses and adjusts as necessary.
- Assists with overseeing Lāna‘i Service Station.
- Ensures that Company policies and procedures with regard to handling cash, checks, credit cards, and merchandise refunds/exchanges are adhered to.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- One to two years work experience in rental car or rental equipment business.
- One to two years work experience in Hotel operations, preferred.
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.
- Requires working to the established procedures and maintaining reliable work attendance.
- Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Able to think and make effective decisions quickly.
- Able to create effective working relationships with employees.
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure.
