Assistant Restaurant Manager - Departure

About the role

The Restaurant Manager at The Nines, Portland, oversees the restaurant, room service, and other food and beverage outlets. This position is responsible for achieving customer satisfaction, adhering to corporate and franchise policies, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the restaurant and room service to meet financial goals and guest expectations.
• Implement and manage company programs to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Forecast, implement, and control budgets for various areas, including labor, food, beverage, supplies, and equipment.
• Create and execute promotions, displays, and buffet presentations to attract more guests and increase market share.
• Maintain and sanitize restaurant and room service areas to ensure quality service and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two to three full years of full-time employment in a related position with this company or other organizations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Ability to make logical decisions based on established policies and procedures.
• Excellent comprehension for handling guest and associate matters.
• Excellent vision and communication skills for interacting with guests and associates.
• Knowledge of chemicals/agents for training purposes.

Pay

USD $75,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.

Schedule

Negotiable, but typically includes regular hours during the day and evening shifts.
