About the role

Join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Shake Shack in a dynamic airport restaurant environment at JFK Terminal 4.

What You'll Do

• Manage all Front of House and Kitchen activities
• Focus on the Food
• Cost Control
• Lead and Develop the Team
• Systems and Processes
• Merchandising and Displays
• Handle tasks such as management of funds and media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling and payroll
• Forecasting and Budgeting

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience required
• Minimum 1 year Quick-Service restaurant management experience required
• Shake Shack management experience is highly desirable
• Proficient level of computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
• Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities
• Ability to interact at all levels, including with executives, union representatives, and diverse hourly team members
• Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports
• High School Diploma or equivalent, associate's degree or equivalent coursework preferred
