Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at 7-Eleven, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees. You will also ensure the restaurant complies with company policies and health department standards, manage the restaurant's condition, and ensure proper preparations, presentations, and freshness of all foodservice products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees.
• Ensure the restaurant complies with company policies and health department standards.
• Manage the restaurant's condition and ensure proper preparations, presentations, and freshness of all foodservice products.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred, Word, Excel).
• Multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Restaurant Leader, for all restaurant employees. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required if you have at least one year of Restaurant Management experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
• Ability to oversee the restaurant condition and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as Health Department Standards.
• Strength in ensuring proper preparations, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products.
• Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred, Word, Excel).
