Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) is a key member of the Dealer Sales Pod, responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience for dealerships. This role involves managing customer service escalations, providing high-touch concierge service, and collaborating with various internal teams to resolve dealer-facing issues.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the main point of contact for dealer customer service escalations.
• Providing high touch concierge service.
• Developing a deep understanding of Capital One’s products and programs, and proactively setting up other Sales Pod members to be more effective through their conversations with the dealer.
• Cultivate positive relationships with dealers to become their primary point of contact for all service and execution needs.
• Act as a support and administrative coordinator between Capital One and dealers.
• Manage and resolve outstanding dealer sales items, such as dealer agreements, cancellations, title issues, receivables, and a wide range of other dealer facing items.
• Leverage a broad variety of systems and internal teams to resolve outstanding dealer issues.
• Educate dealers on Capital One Auto Finance’s programs, tools, platforms, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates cross-departmentally to solve problems and be the primary dealer contact for all internal Dealer POD funding, sales, and administrative escalations.
• Support sales partners with business development by communicating opportunities, scheduling sales appointments, solving dealer-related problems, and collaborating to grow business.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

• Downers Grove, IL: $62,900 - $71,800 for Assistant Relationship Manager.

Schedule

The schedule expectations for this role include:

• Available ~3 Saturdays a month as needed to cover dealer inquiries and escalations with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off.
• In office 5 days a week for the first 90 day training period.
• Potential to work up to 2 Sundays a month with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off.
