About the role

The Assistant Regulatory Analyst supports Bob’s compliance with product safety, social responsibility, and sustainability laws and regulations. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help administer key Compliance programs, including third-party product testing, factory social compliance auditing, and due diligence of vendor and factory partners.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help administer key Compliance programs.
  • Evaluate Bob’s assortment and its manufacturers using strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Provide direction aligned with company policies under supervision.
  • Support administration of product safety, vendor management, and social compliance programs.
  • Affiliate with third-party testing and factory social audit programs.
  • Contribute to continuous surveillance of regulatory environments.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Accounting, Logistics, and Operations.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment with shifting priorities.
  • Navigate a fast-paced retail environment with shifting priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Examine products during field visits, walking, examining, and manipulating products to view all sides and how they operate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or legal discipline.
  • One to three years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, product safety, product development, or a related technical field (STEM degree or internship may substitute for one year of experience).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Qualifications

  • Self-directed and able to work independently while collaborating as needed.
  • Experience in product compliance, regulatory, scientific, legal, or product development fields.
  • Consumer products industry experience.
  • Experience with PowerBI, SharePoint, supply chain applications, or SAP.

Pay

Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc.
Opportunities: $60,000 - $70,000

Schedule

Hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days per week in the company office and may include occasional domestic travel, including visits to distribution centers to examine products.
