Responsibilities

• Oversee all farm operations including adjusting chicken house environments.
• Collect and properly handle eggs, and dispose of daily mortality.
• Operate tractors and equipment for cleaning chicken houses and farm maintenance.
• Set up and place birds, prepare for shipment.
• Maintain compliance with company programs, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage farm labor and maintain positive employer-employee relationships.
• Communicate effectively with higher authority and accurately complete records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of successful poultry management experience.
• Outstanding motivation with minimal supervision required.
• Good oral and communication skills, and strong mathematical abilities.
• Preferred strong mechanical skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, strong mechanical skills, bilingual (Spanish/English), and ability to manage farm operations effectively.

Pay

$20.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm, and an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am.
