About the role

The Monroe County Public Defender's Office is seeking compassionate and committed individuals with a passion for serving the public interest by ensuring access to justice for indigent individuals. As an Assistant Public Defender, you will represent and defend indigent clients in District Justice Court, Court of Common Pleas, state Superior and Supreme Courts, and Juvenile Court within the State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Represent and defend indigent clients in various courts, including District Justice Court, Court of Common Pleas, Superior Court, Supreme Court, and Juvenile Court.
