About the role

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the operations at their new affordable property, Meadow Creek, located in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Process new applications, re-certifications and provide required information to compliance department.
  • Show apartments to prospective residents.
  • Handle lease negotiations and renewals.
  • Afford to oversee leasing and maintenance staff.
  • Afford to assist with marketing and leasing activities as needed.
  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Afford to assist the manager with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits and petty cash records, delinquent rents, evictions, maintaining curb appeal, etc.
  • Afford to assist the manager with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One year of experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic instructions, simple correspondence, and communicate effectively one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, comparison of rates, ratios, percentages, and interpretation of basic graphs.
  • Reasoning skills to follow detailed instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
  • Beginner experience with MS Office.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence, and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, comparison of rates, ratios, percentages, and interpretation of basic graphs.
  • Reasoning skills to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding.
  • Computer skills, including beginner experience with MS Office.

Training Requirements

  • Annually attend fair housing, section 42 and leasing classes.
  • Ongoing professional development.
