About the role
The Assistant Property Manager supports all aspects of community operations, including resident relations, compliance, leasing, rent collections, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Resident Relations
- Address resident concerns and service requests professionally and promptly
- Aid in conflict resolution and resident communications
- Process move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
- Support resident engagement initiatives and community events
- Affordable Housing Compliance
- Maintain compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and affordable housing requirements
- Process certifications and recertifications
- Maintain accurate resident files and documentation
- Aid during audits and compliance reviews
- Leasing & Occupancy
- Conduct property tours
- Respond to applicant inquiries
- Aid in application processing and lease preparation
- Support occupancy and retention goals
- Operations & Administration
- Cook up maintenance requests and follow-up
- Aid in rent collection and delinquency management
- Prepare reports and maintain property records
- Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas
- Aid in budget tracking and administrative functions
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of property management experience
- Affordable housing experience preferred
- Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, or Section 8 programs preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Experience with property management software

Pay
The pay range for this role is: 23 - 25 USD per hour (Antioch)
