About the role

You support managing a multifamily property in various areas, including leasing oversite, maintenance oversite, administrative functions, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a property manager or area manager to assist in managing a sizeable multifamily property
  • Provide exceptional service and support to our residents, employees, and vendors
  • Use your experience with multifamily property management software such as AMSI and Entrata to drive revenue and ensure competitive rental rates at leasing and accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and timely rent collection each month
  • Prioritize work and ensure the property always looks its best and operates at its peak
  • Engage in difficult conversations with employees and residents, hearing their concerns and issues and seeking to understand and find a resolution
  • Provide a stress-free and informed rental experience for current and future residents
  • Engage every person who walks through the office door with a friendly and efficient approach

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Has obtained or is in the pursuit of an associate or undergraduate degree(s) and/or has equivalent work experience working in large multifamily real estate properties
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales plus a minimum of 1 year of experience supervising two or more employees
  • Has proficient computer skills, including using Microsoft Office products in an office environment
  • Familiarity with general business and accounting concepts and practices; ability to read, understand, and develop financial statements; high-school graduate-level mathematical proficiency required
  • Has a valid driver’s license to operate company-owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work
